Good evening everyone,
I write as if I was talking. Take all your preconceived notions of grammar and place them in a box. Kick that box somewhere.
People tell me that they do not vote and I can understand.
I am usually tempted to throw in the towel too.
Simply because I tend to be proactive not reactive and I like to see shit get done.
I see voting as a token gesture where the party with the most money tends to snatch up the most seats.
Partly because I live in a Tory stronghold...and they have the money.
If I was not voting/ If we did not have the vote I would rather be marching on London, tearing down Number 10.
Having all the neo-liberal privatisation ideologues thrown out of the buildings, out of their fancy homes and left like a single parent unable to cover the bedroom tax or a disabled person that failed an ATOS examination. I would toss those bums onto the pavement and leave them to fend for themselves.
But then I remember that is not how we do things anymore.
Our ancestors had to fight for the right to vote in the first place.Women had to fight for the right to education, to vote, & for equal rights (Some are still fighting as the pay is still unbalanced). I cannot willingly just throw away my vote because I feel bitter towards some rich white prick for being a rich white prick.
1. Are you making that kind of money right now?
Answer: Probably not. Why should they? What are you getting out of it?
2. Did you know our MPs gave themselves a pay rise? (Yet another link. Yes it's the Daily Mail but they know how to use BOLD effectively.)
3. Do you think you would still be able to keep your job if you did half the crap our Government is doing?
- Outsourcing most of their work for someone else to do. - Criticising the the welfare program whilst making 900k a year from it.
People if you are not going to vote for the Loony Party or the Greens or the local independant candidate then wave goodbye to the NHS, to everything. The Tories & UKIP want to sell it all off.
If you do not vote these cretins out of office you are saying that you are completely fine with your income remaining stagnant (and technically falling as prices keep rising), for your taxes to continue as they are despite getting less and less for what you are putting in. You are fine with the retirement age rising,
I have escape plans and I know I will be safe and I will be able to make a decent income.
However I find it borderline intolerable that my own people do not demand more from life, more from their local MP and more from their country.
The multi-nationals and every damn head of every massive retail store know how to demand more from their workers but do the workers demand an equal share, a fair living wage, an actual future! The bulk of British citizenry cannot be bothered to vote...I will still fight for those too idle to raise their own arses from their chairs but if a single non-voter utters "why is no one doing anything?" I will flip shit faster than a DJ on an opening night.

Second blog:
In regards to UKIP... Well it shows that when you need something done just blame it on Brussels and the neighbourhood will come running. Explain that our situation is caused by rich white homegrown people and they stumble, stagger and go "Well this is all a bit beyond me really". Politics is not beyond you.
The last real bunch of class warriors (that I am aware of) were miners, not doctors or lawyers but big burly men with serious lung conditions and few prospects. Are you a big burly miner? Did you just return home from slaving away in a pit for hours? No. Excellent. Fight the good fight. Join a local group, find a cause and put pressure on your local MP to do their god damn job. You are already pay him or her, you might as well get your monies worth.
Rich white guys have been running this country for centuries and now we have elected more of them to the E.U. Success? Blow me ¬_¬
I have the flu and I have attempted to proof read this but hopefully it makes sense.
I changed the font...this one looks pretty. Christ my head is not functioning right.

MP's in our Parliament get an average of £66,000 a year (rough estimate taken this link)
First question:1. Are you making that kind of money right now?
Answer: Probably not. Why should they? What are you getting out of it?
2. Did you know our MPs gave themselves a pay rise? (Yet another link. Yes it's the Daily Mail but they know how to use BOLD effectively.)
